Ashley

Ashley is a salon owner, mentor, and leadership coach dedicated to raising the standard of the beauty industry in Ballantyne and beyond. As the founder of HŪE Salon, she has built a culture rooted in growth, accountability, and excellence, where stylists are not only trained in advanced technical skills, but developed into confident, empowered professionals.

With a passion for coaching and education, Ashley is known for cultivating some of the top-performing stylists in the area. Her approach blends real world business strategy with personal development, helping her team master both the craft behind the chair and the mindset required to build sustainable, successful careers.

A certified Enneagram practitioner, Ashley integrates personality-based coaching into her leadership style, creating individualized growth paths that bring out the best in each team member. She believes that when people understand themselves, they lead better, serve better, and live more fulfilled lives.

Beyond the salon, Ashley is deeply committed to empowering women and strengthening her local community. Whether mentoring her team, supporting fellow business owners, or creating opportunities for connection and growth, her mission is clear, build people up and create a lasting impact.

At home, Ashley’s greatest joy is her family. She shares life with her husband Jeremy, their son, and their beloved pack of dogs and cat, who keep life full, grounded, and always lots fun.

Emma has been in the industry for 15 years. She moved here from Long Island, NY where she was behind the chair before taking some time to stay home with her two beautiful children and now she is back and more talented than ever. One thing that continues to drive her is being able to create a canvas of the guests inner beauty and display it for the world to see. Her favorite quote is “Always be a first rate version of yourself, instead of the second rate version of somebody else.” ~ Judy Garland

I’m Kendall, and I don’t just do hair, I create looks that turn heads and grow out flawlessly. With five years behind the chair, I’ve built my reputation on lived in blondes, precision bobs, and extensions that bring confidence and a little bit of edge to every client who sits in my chair.

I’m known for my eye for detail, a listening ear and my honest approach. I believe your hair should fit your lifestyle, not just your appointment, so everything I create is intentional, wearable, and designed to last beyond the salon.

Outside of HUE, I live for adrenaline rushes, tattoos, live music, and a good patio moment, but my favorite role will always be being mom to my three year old son, Maverick. He’s my why behind everything I do.

My energy is bold, real, and unapologetically myself. If you’re ready for hair that feels effortless but makes a statement, you’re in the right chair.

Jessica is the friendly voice and face you are welcomed with at every visit. She loves this industry because she loves seeing the creativity that you can do with hair and how it can change a person’s day. She loves talking to people and being an uplifting spirit to others. Her favorite quote is, “I believe that a happy girl is a pretty girl!” ~ Audrey Hepburn, and she believes that! Some of her favorite things to do are, crocheting, hiking, playing games, watching movies and spending time with her hubby and 3 beautiful girls.

Vanessa is a graduate from the Aveda Institute, where she discovered her passion for perms and color services. “Every day at the salon, she gets to live my childhood dream of making people feel beautiful and confident”. Whether you’re looking for a bold new color, a fresh perm, or just a trim, she’s here to help you achieve your perfect look. She is excited to have you in her chair to create something amazing together!

I’m Aaliyah! Originally from San Diego, California and a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Charlotte. I’m so excited to be pursuing my passion for all things hair! I am thrilled to continue to be dedicated to helping my guests look and feel their absolute best, and I have a special passion for lived-in colors and blondes. I’m looking forward to beginning this new journey and can’t wait to see you in my chair!

Hi, I’m Olivia! I’m a licensed cosmetologist who trained at Aveda Arts & Sciences after graduating from Sun Valley High School. I’ve always loved anything creative, which is what led me to the beauty industry.

I enjoy meeting new people, building connections, and helping my clients feel confident and beautiful. When I’m not in the salon, you can find me spending time with friends and family, going on walks, or doing something creative like nails or drawing.

I live by the quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” and bring that positive energy into everything I do!

Hi! I’m Meghan Wakefield, an associate stylist here at HUE Salon Ballantyne and a Aveda Institute graduate. I’ve been with HUE Salon for a couple of months now and I’m so excited to continue growing and learning alongside such an amazing team.

Some things I love about hair are creating vibrant colors, crafting layered haircuts, and helping people feel confident and beautiful. Honestly, I love everything about hair and the creativity it allows.

Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a Charlotte native and Aveda Institute graduate with a true love for all things hair. I love doing long layer cuts and everything blonde. I’m passionate about creating customized looks that are effortless and make you feel your best. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, going shopping, and spending time with my two dogs. I hope to see you in my chair soon!
