Ashley

Ashley is one of the owners of HŪE and has been in the industry for over 10 years. She and Janet started this journey to make their community feel more beautiful and empower others along the way. Her biggest professional inspiration would have to be her mother, Becky Keenan. Becky has always worked extremely hard with passion and integrity.  Not only is her mother a successful business owner, but she is also an amazing artist.  You can find her mother’s artwork hanging on the walls of HŪE whenever you visit.  When Ashley is not behind the chair, you can find her relaxing at home with her fur babies and family. Janet

Janet is one of the owners at HŪE. She began her career in 2000 in Long Island, and moved to Charlotte in 2007.  Her favorite thing about being a hairstylist is that she gets to make people feel good and helps then feel more confident and empowered everyday! Janet’s favorite quote is, “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

Dana

Dana has been with HŪE since it opened in 2017.  Her journey with HŪE started when the lovely owners decided to open a salon and start their dream and journey as a women owned business. Dana is honored to be apart of that journey. She doesn’t like to label herself with a “specialty” when it comes to services, because she feels that she is a “hair and beauty specialist”. She enjoys every aspect of salon services and loves doing it all! That is one reason why she decided to get her cosmetology licenses; she didn’t want to be limited to just one thing. Over the years of being at HŪE, continuing education has also been, not only a passion for the salon company, but also a passion she holds very dear to her heart. In 2019 she became a L’Oréal Professional Series Expert and Color Ambassador.

Stylist

Emma

Emma has been in the industry for 15 years. She moved here from Long Island, NY where she was behind the chair before taking some time to stay home with her two beautiful children and now she is back and more talented than ever. One thing that continues to drive her is being able to create a canvas of the guests inner beauty and display it for the world to see. Her favorite quote is “Always be a first rate version of yourself, instead of the second rate version of somebody else.” ~ Judy Garland

Kendall

Kendall has been with HŪE since 2021. Her journey started with us as our support staff, but she is now fulfilling her dream behind the chair. She loves this industry because it gives her purpose and enables her to fulfill her passion to make people feel and look their best. It’s craft that she continues to perfect daily. Her favorite quote is “Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game” from the movie ‘Cinderella Story’. Her favorite person is her grandmother, she calls her Moonie. Her Moonie (grandmother) was also a hairstylist & she would love nothing more than to follow in her footsteps. She cheers her on and has shown Kendall the true definition of unconditional love. 🤍 Kendall loves being outdoors, finding a nice patio with live music, spending time her son, Maverick & her honey, Quinnton. She also loves tattoos, loud music, and anything that gets her adrenaline pumping!

Jessica

Jessica is the friendly voice and face you are welcomed with at every visit. She loves this industry because she loves seeing the creativity that you can do with hair and how it can change a person’s day. She loves talking to people and being an uplifting spirit to others. Her favorite quote is, “I believe that a happy girl is a pretty girl!” ~ Audrey Hepburn, and she believes that! Some of her favorite things to do are, crocheting, hiking, playing games, watching movies and spending time with her hubby and 3 beautiful girls.

Vanessa is a graduate from the Aveda Institute, where she discovered her passion for perms and color services. Every day at the salon, she gets to live my childhood dream of making people feel beautiful and confident. Whether you’re looking for a bold new color, a fresh perm, or just a trim, she’s here to help you achieve your perfect look. She is excited to have you in her chair to create something amazing together!

Erin is a passionate hairstylist whose journey into the world of hair was driven by a desire to blend creativity with the joy of making others feel beautiful. With a deep appreciation for music, art, and all things beauty, she brings a unique perspective to every hairstyle. Her dedication to this craft goes beyond mere technique; it’s about creating personalized experiences that reflect your individuality and leave you feeling confident!

Why I like working at HUE: “The stylists and other support staff are some of the best people I’ll ever know. I also enjoy seeing the smiles of each guests with their hair done at the end of their appointment. Some of my hobbies include, reading, swimming, hiking, and video games.
